Hi Karen,
You may need to leave the town of Georgetown to find a place in the county to apply at. As there are some assistance programs in Putnam County that may help you with your housing needs, bills, etc. While we are not sure about the RV comments you made, you can still try and here are the Putnam County agencies to try. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... progr.html

Need all the places that help in Putnam County FL

Post by Muhammad »

Good Afternoon,
My name is Karen. I am 55 and currently reside at Port Cove RV Resort in Georgetown Florida. Georgetown is a tiny town in Putnam County.
I am presently on Hospice via Vista. My diagnosis is COPD. However I have also had Thyroid. I have had bilateral top lobectomy due to blisters on my lungs. This resulted in many Spontaneous Pneumothorax. I have been exposed to Tuberculosis. The medication for this depleted all of my calcium. And have a pancreatic mass.
Due to all of this I am on 4 1/2 liters of oxygen continuously. I am applying for SSDI and resources from social services in Putnam County. My husband does work 2 jobs to try to make ends meet but they are not meeting.
We are currently 3 months behind on our electric now. We are in desperate need of help paying it ASAP. I can't have it shut off and not have oxygen or the a/c. I need both to breathe.
I am hoping you can please help us. We get no other services. My husband's monthly take home pay is at most 2200. Per month.
I would greatly appreciate a call to see if you or another service can help me. My eyes are not too great. So a phone call would be much appreciated. I thank you in advance .
With Gratitude,
Karen
