As noted in this topic/thread, there are multiple school supply programs. The church could not even get you clothes for your son? Odd. As far as the supplies, look here for free school stuff for your son and scroll down to pick your area.
There are also free clothing closets to try. They should be able to give your son some new or gently used clothing items that he can wear to school. Look here for a free clothing closet in your area.

Noe while we can't say they will single you (and your daughter out) as you are desperate, but there are many local and nation school supply programs offered. Most are first come-server, so if you really badly want them be sure to get there early to register-apply. My lot rent is late, electric behind months, ran out of fuel oil, trying to better myself by going to college online fulltime. But I don't have anyone to help me.
My husband left me and our 12 year old LGBTQ daughter in July 2023 knowing I didn't work and couldn't support myself. I have absolutely NO money to get her anything for school year or me for my learning / education too. My heart is so broken and I don't know what to do. Can anyone please help me at least with school supplies for my daughter? Thank you
