What do single parents do for their kids at Christmas?

Hi, my name is Heidi. I am a single mom looking for Christmas help for my 6-year-old son, Gavin. I was wondering if there is any way your organization could help me provide presents for my son this Christmas.
I’ve hated the past three years because I’ve been sick and out of work since 2016. I receive assistance from DTA, but it’s only a little less than $560, split into two payments per month, along with around $350 in food stamps (SNAP). It’s very hard to live on that amount alone.
Right now, my rent is overdue by $3,400, my electric bill is $3,200, and my oil tank is below 1/8 full. With everything so far behind, there’s just no money left for the holidays. My son’s birthday also falls around this time, and it breaks my heart knowing I can’t give him much. I only have one family member who gives him a small gift each year, and it hurts to see him miss out on what other kids experience.
I’m praying for some help this year so I can give my 6-year-old a Christmas he’ll remember so he can share in the joy when his friends talk about what they got for Christmas. If there is any way someone could please get back to me about Christmas help and possibly assistance with bills, I would truly appreciate it.

Single moms, or parents, get no additional Christmas help. Programs are open to anyone in need. That being said, look here for holiday help in Hillsborough County NH.

There are charities, churches and agencies that focus on single parents - specifically moms. Maybe they can help you and your kids at Christmas, and find single mom holiday assistance programs.

Hello, I am looking for any and all information pertaining to any assistance I may acquire for my daughter, who is a single mom. I am most specifically looking for information pertaining to Christmas gifts for my ten year old daughter. Any information or guidance anyone can give me is extremely appreciated. I am sure I missed most cut off dates for any Christmas assistances near me. However, I officially lost my job last week and I have absolutely no idea what to do to provide any kind of gifts for my single mom daughter this Christmas and her kids and it breaks my heart. Since you have an income, and think the issue is more a timing one, then try a Buy Now Pay Later application.
You can use your future income to pay off any bills for those Christmas gifts for your 3 beautiful girls. But still be frugal!

I receive a social security check each month and hardly get by on that. My kids who is 10 and lives Shopkins and books and coloring activities stuff. Monster high and clothes she wear 9/10 and shoes 13. Another kid she is 8 and she like the descendant stuff. She also loves frozen and baby doll stuff and clothes sizes 7/8 and shoes 12 1/2. Boy who is Just 1 years old? She loves Minnie Mouse and everything that makes sound. Clothes sizes 18 months and shoes 3. And myself. I'm in a size 3/4 long and shoe 6 1/2 and I like to enjoy making my kids happy but I also love shopping for them as a single mom. If anyone could please help make my kids have a good Christmas. My ten year old grandson needs Xmas gifts. My daughter was on unemployment and it has stopped she has been looking for work. She is a single mom who has worked full-time while putting herself thru school to continue her education to better herself and I am in disability and my check goes to put a roof over my head.
She has recently became homeless and us going from coach to coach. I'm not proud to say I am an addict now in recovery but I have not been able to give her the life she deserves she is alone with her son and has done a great job with him an she has never broken a law. She stayed in school and has continue on with getting her degree she has recently gone to transitional assistance but that will not start for a few weeks so anything for her kids Christmas would be greatly appreciated. He is a bright sweet ten year old boy who loves Pokemon an Mine-craft. He is in a size ten pants and medium boys shirt. Anything would help.

I am a single mother of 3 and with the holidays and trying to provide a good Christmas for my kids. I am in need of help paying my utility bill. I do work but have always lived paycheck to paycheck. I received a shut off notice for my utility bill for $250 and it is due December 23, and I have called HEAP and Salvation Army and my calls have yet to be answered.
I have never been in this situation and don't know who else to turn to, none of my family can help me. If you can help or can lead me in the right direction. I live in Sacramento County.
