Re: GED

I have been searching for help with getting my GED. But first I need money for vehicle repairs or help with a different vehicle to get to my classes. I'm a single mother of 3 infants and live on a very tight budget and my heat has went out in my vehicle so I can't get my children to head start, attend the school for my GED or get to my appointments or get groceries. I'm in need of assistance and I'm not sure how to get some help.
I've left messages for the salvation army and I also have contacted St Vincent church but no luck. So if you can please help me or refer me somewhere that would be greatly appreciated as I really want my GED to get a better job and living for me and my kids. Please and thank you and bless you.

Not sure about the assistance program. Maybe a job center known as One Stop. Or try a community action agency. And ask for the school. Maybe they offer financial aid to pay for a GED.

I am trying to find help or a grant for my niece who is trying to obtain her GED and she is taking her exams on the April 20th. I believe I read about assistant program that helps young mothers help pay for GED tests. Please let me know as soon as possible. I would like her to get her education soon.

where to go online, we have no idea. We do not rely on that. If you want real help with GED programs or education, call a neighborhood school. If that doesn't work for some reason, then try calling your local community action agency. Most have information on GED and similar programs and resources. Find the information, including phone numbers and more here. http://needhelppayingbills.com/html/com ... #nonprofit
