Good afternoon, I was trying to find some places in Illinois to contact to see where to go and or who to contact in regards to getting some help for my children for school clothes and supplies!
Hi,
There is a link above to Chicago. If that is where you are in Illinois? As that of course is where most people in IL live! But if your kids need mostly clothes for school, try a clothing closet. Or for other free school supply programs (local and national), look here. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... plies.html

My husband has recently lost his job and we have no income so I wanted to find a place that would be willing to help get my children a few new outfits for the school year and all that other stuff that students need for elementary school.
Do you have any suggestions or could you guide me in the right direction?
Your son in second grade would be the age to qualify for free supplies. We do have information on many different programs to try in the Chicago Illinois area. Most of them are run by clothing closets, so give them a call. Or find clothing closets in Chicago.
Hello,
Do you help with school supplies? The reason I’m asking is because I live in Plano, Illinois 60545 and I just recently got laid off of work and school is just around the corner and I’m trying to make ends meet but with bills and everything else its a little difficult for me to buy clothes and school supplies this year for my son. He’s going into 2nd grade. I would really appreciate it.
