Hi all,
With all these posts, look here for our main mortgage assistance page. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... tgage.html

It shows details on HUD counseling, government benefits, payment plans and more. As there are many local and national mortgage assistance programs.

Good evening,
I need help paying my mortgage, utilities, and paying off my debt.  I am not asking to pay all my bills; I just want someone to know that I am going through a hardship.  My mortgage past due amount is about $6,250.00 and for me to have a place to sleep; the Key bank is asking me for the total amount.
I hope that someone can help me or help me find other places/organizations where I can call or email to ask for assistance.
Sincerely,

We live in Raleigh, NC. My boyfriend worked off shore in Louisiana, in the oil industry, until 2 weeks ago when he lost his job. Our mortgage was due on 4/19 in the amount of $550, and our electric bill we received a final cut off notice for 4/29 in the amount of $148.
My boyfriend, has been in contact with multiple recruiters and agencies in Louisiana in search of another job. But I am afraid we will lose our house before he gets his first paycheck. I am also actively seeking employment and have many applications submitted. Please let me know what I can I do for assistance. We did receive good stamps last week. I had to apply because we had no food in the house. Thank you so much..

Hello,
I am writing you this because I need desperate help. I am married with 4 young children, and been going through a rough time. We are on the verge of losing our home due to missed mortgage, and bills are piling yup. Electricity about to get shut off, TV, and barely have gas to get to work. My truck actually ran out of gas this morning and I had to walk the rest of the way. I went through community action over the summer, and still with a job have not been to get back on track. If there is I do make $18.50/hr, but its a contract job, so no benefits, and if I miss work, which I have already, I don’t get paid. That pay rate seems a lot, but with family of 6, my entire check is gone the day I get it. Because my car loan check bounced, so we might be without a car as well. Please let me know if you can help.
Thanks

Hello, I am a single mother of 2. I recently purchased a HUD home on 6/7/13 and on 6/25/13 when I finally had the water turned on it was discovered the pipes froze and my home was flooded. I have been having issues with my insurance to get it fixed. Since July my children and I are homeless. We stay at family members homes but I have to pay rent. I have not made my first mortgage payment due 5/1/13 because I can not afford to. We have not moved in and I am in desperate need for help. I am wondering what programs are available in Albuquerque, NM? I appreciate any help you can give me.
Thank you for your time,

Good Afternoon,
We need help with paying the Mortgage. We are back up $1,000.00. My Mother who is a part-timer 2 days a week works Tuesday and Wednesday as a Dish washer. Barley can make ends meet. She's over the age of 65 years receiving Social Security of only $500.00 a month. Which applies to a 1st Mortgage that we have on the house. Any assistance in the above matter stated will gladly be a help and what every I can put will do so. Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.

I have been unemployed since end of February. I am behind 4 months on my mortgage, I owe under 4000.00 on my vehicle. PNM just shut off my electricity 750.00, AAA New Mexico I have no auto insurance 178.00. I have medical bills over 500.00 asthma related. I have no money for food. I was able to get 2 credit cards which I have lived off 8000.00. I was working in New Mexico and renting. I now live in Albuquerque. I owe electric, gas, rent since march. I was suppose to have surgery in 2009 to remove a mass and I can not afford it so I have put it off. My health is failing, I am anemic and in pain. If there is anything to help me with please do. I really need to pay my mortgage so I do not lose my home.

While Mississippi does have some statewide mortgage and foreclosure assistance programs, your best bet may to to call a certified HUD counselor in MS. Here is a summery of various counselors to call, as well as a summary of the mortgage programs. http://needhelppayingbills.com/html/mis ... ssist.html One of the leading services is the Mississippi Foreclosure Mitigation Counseling program, which involves mediation type services. In addition, the hardship program for the unemployed (which is federal funded) may be another resource too for the needy homeowners in Mississippi.

Arizona has been crushed by the housing crisis, and thousands of homes foreclosed and/or families struggling with home loan payments. Hopefully the market has hit bottom. But we do have information on many foreclosure programs and ways to get mortgage help in Arizona. The state has created a number of programs for homeowners. For example, there is the Arizona Foreclosure Help Line (1-877-448-1211) as well as the Arizona Foreclosure Prevention Taskforce. Find information on all programs for Arizona at this resource.

Can't work because of all the garnishments. How is it fair that they can make me pay my home loan but not the builder. So now I have nothing. So not fair.

Your home loan is with Bank of America? Did you call them yet and ask for what solution or assistance programs they offer. They are one of the biggest banks in the country, and they run a large number of assistance programs, counseling, and other financial support. You will need to call and ask them though. The phone number and a listing of Bank of America mortgage assistance solutions and programs are referenced on the previous link.

That you for the extensive background and information on your mortgage. It sounds like you are getting the run around from your builder, the city, and lender. Sadly this is not uncommon. I think you need to look into all your options, even including speaking to an attorney. Here is a great resource for you, and lists multiple mortgage programs from lenders, banks, and government
http://needhelppayingbills.com/html/hel ... tgage.html

While there are not any specific programs for USAA, many other lenders are referenced with various loan modification and other foreclosure programs.

He hadn't turned the business over to the son's legally, they just took over and started building homes using their father's license while their father fraud the city and state by pretending to be in the business and falsifying state documents to appear as if he was in the business. He turned the financial documents into the state to renew his license (which was protocol) but he was committing fraud because he wasn't in the business. The city gave the son's approximately 100's of illegal permits and the son's have built hundreds of homes in Clarksville, TN illegally. The city business office told me they wasn't licensed as the business name they were carrying at the time either. My home is very defective as well. USAA is my lender and they know everything and although my mortgage loan has a page where the builders signed under their business name which should make the loan null and void USAA said I have to pay the loan. I've kept my payments, up etc, but because I've constantly complained about the house which by the way is falling apart in every single room, USAA dropped my homeowners insurance which was $319 a year and because I can't find a new carrier they added an insurance that is $2029 a year, jacking my mortgage up so high I can't afford it. USAA never sent anyone to look at it they just without warning dropped me. No lawyer will take the case because this place is together like the mafia (good old boy system going strong). I am a black female and disabled veteran and no agency or individual will help me. Everytime I contact a agency they send the complaint right back to the state and NOTHING happens. This month was the first payment for the jacked up mortgage amount. I only paid what I normally pay. The home is so defective the city lowered my property taxes $20,000 but I am now forced a very high mortgage by USAA and PHH which is who service the loan for USAA. USAA don't care at all. I've contacted so many lawyers, I had to fire two because they were my lawyers but actually working for the builders because they some how knew the builders lawyer. I had a third lawyer who took my money and done nothing at all. It's so much more to the story you can go to www. worldlawdirect.com put in Blackwell and Blackwell construction in the search and read through the whole story. I need some people to rally together and help me. This house is very defective but for now it's a roof over my head. If I lose it I will be on the streets. It's not fair. Please if you can help me contact me before I lose this house.

You really have many different options and programs available for mortgage help. The goverment, both federal and state offer programs. Banks, lenders, and mortgage servicers can help and are willing to neogitate. HUD approved counselors and non-profits offer advice. You can find such solutions as forbearance, mortgage mediation, and other forms of advice or support.

Massachusetts does have a variety of mortgage and foreclosure programs. One is a pro bono program offered by lawyers and attorneys that offer free legal advice and assistance. An attorney can meet with you, offer you options and mortgage programs, many of which are supported by the state of Massachusetts government or federal government.
http://www.needhelppayingbills.com/html ... reclo.html
Lawyers from the pro bono program can meet and negotiate with your lender or bank to provide solutions to your housing crisis.
