Henderson Nevada help needed - tell me where to go
Hello, my name is Rodney Jr. I live in Henderson Nevada and have been here all my life. God recently blessed me with a home built from the ground up, and due to unforeseen circumstance, a new vehicle. This of course was the introduction to new bill I would have to take care of regularly.
Previously I owned my vehicle and was renting at 19 West apartments. I have since moved into my new home, however I have yet to find someone to take over my lease. The idea was to sublet my apartment and sign over the documentation to that person; however, it has proven quite difficult. The competition had deals that were far more appealing than what I had to offer, as I was living in a 1 bed/1bath apartment at 1035 a month.
Other people made offers and deals that included more than 1br/brr for what I was paying and under. It was hard to make the deal attractive for anyone to be interested. The short of it is that my lease does not end until October 31.
I am presently responsible for new bills that include a mortgage and new vehicle, but on top of that I am falling behind on my rent because my funds are pointed elsewhere. I would prefer someone to take over the lease, but if not,
I may need some assistance in paying off the last three months and getting food and paying all my bills. As the school year is already in full swing students are no longer looking. As I was told by the MGR of the apartment that this is their slow period as there are no potential renters and that they would be unable to assist in finding someone to take over at this time. The point of me moving into a home was because I was tired of paying rent each month to live in a place I would never own. I felt I owed it to myself to do something more with my life. My parents encouraged me to move forward, and so, I felt saving up to build a home would be the correct financial move.
Long story short, I am finding it difficult to find out that I should be saving for my car, my other bills and home for a place that I haven't lived in for a month and a half. Any advice would be appreciated.
