Hi,Anna Claire wrote: ↑Fri Feb 14, 2025 5:05 am Hello,
We live in DC. I am currently not able to find a new role in private industry as was laid off/forced to resign from the Elon Musk presidency. I have been without pay for weeks now. I'm currently trying to fight my workers comp case and get paid but I still haven't gotten anywhere cause we are waiting for paperwork and a court date. My bills have been stacking up and I'm unable to keep paying them at this time. I have my house in Washington DC paid off so it's just the reoccurring utilities and groceries that I need help with right now. My car insurance will be cancelled by the 17th of this month and I don't know how much longer we will have Internet or cell service. Please help me with the government firing us all with np notice, I need to at least be able to feed my wife and daughter.
Sorry to read that...yes, the Musk presidency will be causing a lot of hardship for government workers, in DC and nationwide. Ironic - the world's richest man, who can easily give $20,000 grand to each worker he fires, at a near cost of $8,000,000,000 (20,000 * 400,000) is blowing up the workforce while Tesla signs a 400 million contract. Odd. Time will tell what the lack of workers will do to all the services people rely on, like what all the Rural trump voters rely on Anyway, we ramble.
