There is also a Disability Resource Center in Panama City. Maybe the center, link at https://www.drcpc.org/, may offer you tips on both your application and resources.

To whom this may concern, I just recently lost my home in Panama City and I just recently got moved into a place, but I have not worked due to a car accident in 2020. This is why everything has gone downhill for me. I have no income. I have been waiting for my disability to go through, which has been going on for almost 2 1/2 years, and I have not been released from my doctors’ care to go back to work, so I have no income at all. I have begged and borrowed from people to where I can't do it anymore, because I have no money to back it up. Nothing has fallen through for me. The winter months are here. I have no heat. I am currently using my oven to stay warm, and I am scared every night, every day, that this place might catch on fire. I am just needing some help for a couple of months, until hopefully this disability case gets approved so that I can get back up on my feet and start living a normal life that I call being happy. So, if I can get some assistance SOS as soon as possible, I would truly appreciate it. I have nowhere else to turn in Florida or the Panama City area. I have no family, thank God for friends, but they're all tapped out. If someone could please get back in touch with me, I would truly appreciate this. Thank you.

Hi , I’m having a difficult time finding help with paying my rent this month and getting groceries. I’ve recently lost my job as a dispatcher for an electrical company. I have 2 small children and I’m a single mother located in Panama City Florida. My rent is 1050 not to mention other bills.
