Hi,
We do have a list of those churches in NYC, including Jamaica - Queens, to try for help. But of course those programs are limited in what they can do, as any church has very limited funding. But try this for help from Jamaica NYC queens churches.

Need a list of places in Jamaica NY that help pay bills
I tried the links given and they are not helpful with rent and utilities. I applied but was denied because I am not experiencing homelessness. I am going to call some of the Jamaica churches listed for rent and utilities. Meanwhile waste management is still charging me. It is now $138.18. I don't understand how they can charge me for a service they suspended.
I am in Queens NY. Jamaica area. The community action program they have here only lets you call on Thursday between 2-3 and you get a busy signal. You have to keep calling and hope you get through. Which of course there are hundreds of people calling so the chances of getting through are slim to none. I guess it works for them. But I hardly work for people that are worse off than I am. It seems a bit unfair. If I get through and a person that is being evicted doesn't. That doesn't seem right to me. The local Jamaica community action is the only one that do it that way.
Thank you for your help. It is appreciated.
