Hi. My name is Donna. I am living in an apartment in Decatur Arkansas. My husband got sick and missed work and the weeks before our car broke down. It was not worth fixing and we need a new vehicle.
Our bills keep piling up but we have always managed but this month due to missed work and 5 children, sadly we are in need of rental assistance and the car. We have car payments and insurance payments (still on old car), utilities, phone and internet payments, and we also paid for the part to fix car which did not work. I was suppose to start work last Monday because inflation is high and with only one income, we are always behind. I didn't start work due to the car not turning on that I need it for work. I am close to eviction. I need to pay by the 27th or move out. I need to pay $620 to be able to continue living here. I am sorry to bother but I have asked family and friends for help but everyone is also struggling with the inflation.

Since you are on SSI benefits from the federal government, try one of the government can programs. They are not common of course, but maybe one agency will help you. Find details on how to get a car from the government.
