Interesting timing...I created this poll as been reading about the topic, as I often feel very lonely/disconnected.
However the AARP apparently just released survey results...~35% Americans over the age of 45 indicate they are lonely. Apparently the issue is even worse for younger people, with those in their 20s even more lonely and 18 to 22 year olds the most lonely. Maybe as high as 50%. I wonder if that is because smart phone use/social network is even more common for younger people?...as we report those phones, networks are very bad for mental health, can lead to isolation, etc.
Still looking for more feedback from our readers.
