To whom it may concern,
I'm using your site, but I keep going around in circles, not ever getting to list with phone numbers or email addresses that I can use.
I live in Merced CA, (Merced County).
I am desperate to find financial help to pay my past due mortgage payments, before my home gets auctioned off. Yes, my home is in foreclosure and has been since May 28, 2026.
I've lived in my home for 15 years and hoped to live here forever. I've been struggling financially for a little bit, and my mother died March 28, 2026. The house is still in her name, as I can't figure out how to fill out the form to start probate and I can't afford a lawyer.
My number one priority is paying the past due mortgage payments to stop foreclosure. Then I could breathe a bit and continue with probate on my mom’s estate.
From your online site, "If you need help identifying programs in your area, you can email us directly — include your state and county, since most assistance is administered locally. The email is [email protected]." So, I am emailing you with the hopes of receiving a list of locations and places to help me save my home.

Is your foreclosure due to all the bills not being paid...taxes, HOA, mortgage, electricity, etc? If so, then your options are limited. Also, now the job market in CA and nationwide is booming, so you should easily be able to find employment. Here are some options for you around mortgage help in California.

I cannot get my light back on for the reason that I owe 3,200 on my bill and need to pay almost 2500 to get it reconnected. I also am on the steps to foreclose of my home. Anything that you can send me that will help please let me know. Thank you in advance.
