Re: Financial assistance for debts
There are many programs that may be able to help you. Can your husband get more shifts at Wal-Mart? As far as the medical bills, try a payment plan with your doctor. They are often flexible and may even reduce the amount you owe. But use this to find other possible options for help with credit card debts.

Re: All of my bills and debts
This is a service for veterans and former military members. They can get free advice, counseling, and in general, debt help for one of many needs. So even if he broke his arm, he can get help. Try the Military One Source program for your husband.

Re: Debt help
Hi, I am seeking help in paying bills! I got injured on the job November 2011 and lost my job July 2012 and haven't been able to work since do to a 20% permanent partial disability and tons of restrictions and living with chronic pain and spasms every day! Going to a Neurologist on the 31st!
Everything is tied up with Worker's Compensation and the Lawyer! So during this process I had no help with anything except my parents but they can't afford to continue to help me. I never thought this would last so long so far a little over a year!
I had to put every day expenses on Credit Cards and now I am in over my head in debt!! Medical Bills are outrageous as well thanks to workers comp! The only help that I received so far is Food Share at $200 a month but that does not cover supplies like toilet paper and other stuff we need to live with every day. I also need gas, hair cut, etc!!! I do have Energy Assistance for the power bill! Is there any agencies that can help me??

Re: I am in debt and behind on everything
I need food assistance, benefits other income, prenatal care, and parenting resources. I am 10K + in credit card debt. I also need help with child information, medical assistance, crime victim compensation, pregnancy complications, and tips on starting a new business at home.
I also need government funding for at home business and tips on preventing my children leaving our home. All sorts of financial assistance is needed as well as information on family programs.
Can people help me with managing my own money and paying bills? Or, last but not least, helping with the debts? I need disability benefits and guidance on filing for unemployment benefits, and maybe some other resources and income.

Re: Best ways to get out of paying debt
Try one of the non-profit credit counseling agencies in western North Carolina. They will offer everything you need, such as counseling, possible programs to give you a clean slate and get rid of those debts, and much more. They can also help with credit repair, so try a North Carolina non-profit. Read more.
Re: Financial assistance for debts
Hi, I saw the help I can get for helping with a debt that I have with a past Credit card I had. It did go in to collections and I need help getting that paid off or even dropped.....The reason for that is I am unable to work because I am disabled. So I do not have any income coming in for myself but my Husband works at Wal-Mart and he doesn't make enough for me to pay off my credit card and medical bills. What can I do, or who can I contact to get some help? Please feel free to contact me at my email.

Re: All of my bills and debts
My husband is in the military reserve a year ago. He had an accident that changed our life. He broke his arm while he was on duty and he couldn't work for almost 6 months. I was pregnant in that time. He was working for landscape too but since he can't use his arm anymore he had to find a security guard job. I'm working a part time job but we're paying debts from that time he wasn't working. We're legally married. Our baby is 11 months now and we need some help with rent. Please we need help.

Re: Get out of debt
While honorable you want to start a business if you are already in debt you need to get a job, pay your bills and possibly save for a business. Your family needs your financial support now. Most companies take 5 years to turn a profit and you are placing your family in grave financial trouble by not working and pulling in an income. If you have no funds to work with the hospital and a payment plan they will continue the garnishment until paid in full.

Re: Get out of debt
As I said, my wife's paycheck is now being garnished 25% until the $1200.00+ bill is paid. We are already robbing Peter to pay Paul each week with loans and advances while I am trying to start a business from home. This deduction in her pay may be the crippling blow that ends in our being evicted, losing utilities, going hungry, etc. We have no idea how to go about resolving this debt with the hospital or we would have paid it in the first place. We need help paying them off so they stop garnishing her paycheck so we can get back to our normal week to week struggle where the bills stack up and get extended on their own.

Re: Best ways to get out of paying debt
I live in Buncombe County NC, I am working in the trade business but not making enough income to support my family. I have fallen behind on my mortgage, vehicle, and other credit card accounts, and the debts I owe are building up. My credit has suffered due to these hardships.
I am in need to catch up to prevent foreclosures on my home and repossession of my truck. My wife is a school teacher and doesn't make enough money to support our family as well, it takes two incomes. I am interested in retraining programs, a clean slate on my debts, financial counseling and new career path.

Need financial advice for all my bills and debts due
I am 6 months. I'm barely able to handle working part time at minimum wage just to only afford to pay what I have. I also owe on court costs and such besides the debt I collectors I owe that I would love to pay if I could.
I need financial advice as well as the best and fastest way to go about getting short term living and or permanent living assistance to get on my feet and have a place to raise my daughter. The father is not in the picture and that limits the help I am eligible for and so I need all the options I can for help until I can return to work after having her.
She's due in October and I have been finding it harder and harder to find a place to sleep every night. And since I recently was in an accident, I don't have transportation either. I haven't had any other doctor appointments in my whole pregnancy since the first ultrasound because I have no way to get to my appointments when I do make them. They don't exactly like you being late or cancelling short notice. I need help with anything to get ready for my daughter because I don't want to have to raise her in a cold world just alone.

Re: I am in debt and behind on everything
Is it medical debts that you are challenged with, since you are on medications and have epilepsy? We really need more details in order to provide you the best resources. So please write back. Until then, try maybe medical bill and debt consolidation. There are several programs for that, and more information on them is on the site. http://www.needhelppayingbills.com/html ... _debt.html

Re: Debt help
I must start by saying that I NEVER imagined that I would be in this position. I am college-educated and we had a middle class life for quite some time. We lost the home that we had for eight years during the recent mortgage crisis. Both my husband and I also lost our jobs during this period as well. We have since acquired jobs that pay us less and we are working every day, although we have residual debt that has kept us from getting ahead. Specifically, we have had to move with our two children twice and are having trouble making the monthly rent. All we really need is a temporary assistance---we could pay it back in six months, so that we can actually get out of the hole. We would need just an advance of $600. Is there any organization that can help us on these residual debts? Please advise. We have two beautiful children who are becoming quite emotionally scarred. Thank you.

Re: Debt help
I was out of work for a couple of years. I had some money saved, but it did not last long. I found work, but only make $1100 per month. My rent is 800 and debt on my car is $200 month. I am starting a new job in two weeks, but I owe my landlord several hundred dollars. I can't afford to move or be evicted because I don't have a car and will be homeless if evicted. I am on good terms with my landlord, but as I stated before I owe him money and am only getting deeper in debt with him.

Re: Debt help
My name is Nancy and i moved out of St. Louis about a year ago and have consistently been paying my debt towards an apartment i rented out there.. Recently the person i was staying with put me out of their home and i soon had to leave my job due to it being hard to work a night shift job living with people. I looked up assistance with bills and ran across your website. Right now i'm somewhat able to maintain my debt towards my old apartment but fearing that it might end up in collections. I am trying to do something about it. Is there anyway you guys may be able to assist me and any type of way. If not would you guys be able to guide me in the right direction. I can be reached at this e-mail. Thank you for your time.

Those are a lot of needs. Look into credit counseling in Dallas Texas. They can probably help you with the credit cards and debts, and may be able to direct you on some of those other needs you have. And of course our entire site has thousands of assistance programs listed for Dallas and the entire nation to help with all of those needs. But as far as your credit cards, use this for more information and details. http://needhelppayingbills.com/html/cre ... _help.html We cover all of the major credit card companies.

Re: Financial assistance for debts
We do not understand. Are you in Chicago now. Moving people from one country to another is not something you can get help with, but maybe you can for those debts and bills you have. Maybe even some support for those home payments. Try talking to an Illinois credit counseling agency, and look for the non-profit ones listed on that resource.
