Both rent and utility help needed in Jersey City NJ

My name is Iblis and I came across your email in a preventing homelessness website. I currently live with my son and his girlfriend in Jersey City Heights; however, we just got news that the landlord will not be renewing our lease and he and his girlfriend will be leaving and moving in on their own. We must be out by November 1 2026 being the latest.
Although I am currently working part time, there is no way I can produce money to move into an apartment on my own with the first month’s rent, and month and a half security deposit as rent is high in Jersey City. As we got to eat and pay for transportation so I need money – help with everything.
I’ve explained to me. Son that we do not have to leave because of the job loss, but he doesn't want to fight it and just wants to leave. I just returned to work three weeks ago due, and for the last 6 months they weren't working so I was paying the rent and my utilities everything else which is why I have no savings. Is there any kind of program that can help me before I end up living out in the streets?
I work as a waitress part time and since I been back to work I been struggling as is to come up with $600 a month plus everything else being it’s been so slow and we're no longer getting corporate guests that we used to get being the offices are closed right now in that area. I need some kind of financial assistance to help me pay my rent, utilities, gas for the house and car. I was recently diagnosed with liver cancer and I am not able to work and I am taking care of my daughter who is not able to work due to mental disabilities. And we need help paying our bills. Even when I was working we were having trouble paying the bills and I tried to get help from other government programs in Jersey City and they told me they would give me $160 to pay rent but my land lord has to agree to take only $160 for rent and my rent is $850.

I have been in the hospital. I have been unemployed and not able to pay my rent or light bill. I was trying to find some assistance on it is about to get disconnected. I do have Home Care in my home at the time and I am disabled but I don't get disability and I have small children in the home I rent. Hopefully someone can help me thank you

While that is great you are looking out for your son, why can't he apply? And do the searching? He has been calling and emailing continuously about the status of his applications but no funding from either program has yet to come through to cover his bills.
Today, right now, he is in need of assistance for his upcoming rent and bills which are due in 2 days. Will you please inform which direction we may proceed in Jersey City NJ ensure he receives financial assistance to cover all of his upcoming bills.
