Hey Glenn - that is awesome you are on your way to a better life. Stay strong brother. To your question, depends on how far the travel is, the charity you apply at and so much more but I bet Greyhound tickets are hard to come by. Talk to your work release program. They also have a page on the site about bus tickets for no-cost and it is here https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... asses.html
They also have some information on PR on the Greyhound site but is seems more for youth, but read about it here https://news.greyhound.com/corporate-ne ... ith-family

To whom it may concern my name is Glenn. I got released from Casa grande which is a work release program, and I’ve got my life pretty much back to normal. I do have a new job but they told me I could reach out to see if I can get assistance with a Greyhound bus pass for one month due to the fact that I don’t have the extra money to provide myself to transportation to get to work. They told me I could reach out to see if there’s anything anybody can do from Greyhound to give me assistance with a bus pass so I can make it to work to keep moving forward in my life with positive stuff and positive movement you can reach at the email that I sent you this from I hope you can help me God bless thank you

Hi Jessica
Thanks for volunteering and giving back at your clinic. Greyhound does offer some assistance programs for emergency travel for medical reasons or the homeless. Most of it is for younger people, but you can look for their programs here. https://www.greyhound.com/company/organ ... we-support
We also have some other options for free bus passes, from like charities and community action agencies. Those programs are listed here at local organizations for a free buss pass.
To Whom It May Concern,
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Jessica, and I am reaching out on behalf of a Clinic in California, a free student-run clinic that serves the community of Oak Park. We are looking for places that help pay for Greyhound buss passes.
Some background, our clinic is dedicated to providing essential healthcare services to the underserved Black community in our area.
As part of our commitment to ensuring accessible healthcare for all, we have identified a significant barrier that many of our patients face: transportation. Many of our patients struggle with getting to and from the clinic, as well as attending other necessary appointments and fulfilling daily needs. This lack of reliable transportation for local travel or long distance Greyhound travel can severely impact their ability to receive timely medical care and maintain their overall health and well-being.
To address this critical issue, we are seeking support from organizations like yours to provide bus passes or any other transportation accommodations for our patients. Your generous donation would make a tremendous difference in their lives, enabling them to access the healthcare services they need without the added stress of transportation challenges.
If you are able to assist us with getting or paying for Greyhound bus passes or have other suggestions on how we might better support our patients’ transportation needs, we would be immensely grateful. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you require any additional information or have further questions.
Thank you for considering our request. We look forward to the possibility of collaborating with you to enhance the health and well-being of the Oak Park community.
Warm regards,
