Where can I get help with bills in Kona HI?

People looking for general financial assistance.
Also look here for programs on the main NHPB site for local financial help.

Hi Shawn
Kona obviously has limited resources as such a small city, but we have some places you can try. Since that is in Hawaii County itself, here is a list of programs and options for you. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... istan.html
As far as the medical bills, try credit counseling or a payment plan. We also found this for contact information for Human Services in HI - https://humanservices.hawaii.gov/import ... e-numbers/

I work self-employed part time, so I don't make very much, barely afford to keep my rent and phone bill paid, and my hospital bills are piling up and keep growing, not to mention the more recent hospital visits. So I am searching for information for nonprofit organizations in Kona, Hawaii, or any that are internationally connected to Hawaii.
I didn't see any information on the website for Hawaii. Please contact me with the answers I have been searching for. I need help. I can’t even get a license to grow my business due to debt in the hands of debt collectors that is holding me back. I am 32 years old, living with my parents, and for the last year I have overcome my past alcoholism and have turned a new leaf, trying to get my life in order. I want to get all this debt paid off and hopefully begin a new life sober and debt free.
