Re: Holiday work hours dropped off

Post by KanyeRed »

Hi. I am in need of help with paying my rent. I am a single mother of 3. I just had my last baby on October 30 ,2025. I was getting unemployment before as my holiday hours around Thanksgiving were dropped, and they stopped giving it to me due to meeting my limit. I will be getting released from the Dr. in a few more weeks. I am in need of information on how I can get help until I can get back to work or the holidays pick up. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time,
Heather

Holiday work hours dropped off

Post by Train »

Hello,
I am in need of help for paying some of my bills and I'm not sure what to do. My fiancé and I have 4 children and I am the only one working. I currently work at Exxon which is Oil field. But they do not having any work.
I am currently on partial unemployment only making $152 a week which isn't even enough to pay my rent of $650. We moved into our house in November and could always pay our bills due to me making great money. But since holiday my hours have dropped. I have not worked in over month.
I am doing all that I can do to try to find a job. I even had 2 interview but still nothing. My fiancé has even went to look for a job. I just need pointed in the right direction. I've been looking and making phone calls all day and nobody can help. I'm trying my best! Hope to hear from you soon. Thank You.
