Hi,
A couple things. One is we have information on Tampa and Hillsborough County rent and deposit help. Maybe they can help you come up with some money for a Tampa apartment.
Also the Tampa Housing Authority has information on subsidized apartments - housing with some focused on the disabled. That list is here. https://www.tampaha.org/subsidized-units

My husband is deceased, and I am unfortunately disabled and on disability. I need help finding an apartment and money for security deposit and at least 2 months’ rent so I can get back on my feet, every place I have looked at is 950 a month or more. I am scared of losing everything I have and don’t let where to turn for rent money here. Please help. I am in Hillsborough County; I was lied to about the reason I have to move and also given 21 days’ notice.
