Re: Stop an eviction from apartment
Hi,
Good news is I have an offer letter for employment! It is myself and my 10-year-old son and while I am happy to be employed again, I desperately need help so not evicted from our apartment! I have not paid rent for April and am about to be evicted. I have always taken care of myself and my son and will be able to do so again shortly. Right now, I don’t know how to get over this hurdle. I am hoping you can please help us. I really don’t know what to do.

Re: Single moms need help to stop eviction
Hi Michelle,
That is great you are trying to keep your daughter as stable as possible, by her school etc. Have you looked into any of the programs that prioritize rent help for single moms? As we have several listed. Also if you post state and/or county we can offer more local information for you.

I am currently working, and I just started another job where I’ll be making a little bit more money, so sustainability looks positive for the future. I just need to get caught up with my rears. Anything that you could do to help or information you can give me or guide me in any way would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much. Thank you so much. Have a great day.

Hi,
Most eviction prevention services are local. Where do you need help with an eviction? What local housing court What are for legal aid or grant money? Until then, find emergency help to stop an eviction by state.

Good evening
I was wondering if you offered rental assistance to stop an eviction. My husband is unemployed and I am disabled. This month has been the first time that we were late. I have tried many other resources and churches to no avail. Please let me know if you are able to assist in this urgent matter.
Thank you

Re: Court case coming up for eviction
My previous inquiry regarding my current situation. Unfortunately, the eviction detainer lockout proceeded as planned, leaving me with no resources or assistance, forcing us to spend the night at a nearby park. My eviction hearing case in county court is scheduled for Monday, July 8, 2024, at 8:30 am in division L. With notice the mobile park representatives attorney failed to show not once but twice Consequently, I have no choice but to continue residing at the park near my home. I have some concerns and questions regarding my rights as a mobile home owner under tenant protection laws, and I hope you can provide me with some guidance on the upcoming court case.
Firstly, I am troubled by the serving of the Eviction detainer documents. These documents were filed electronically on March 1, 2024, with a 5-day window to respond to the court. However, the documents were delivered to my disabled father after the deadline had passed, without any acknowledgment of their importance. Managing these documents within the limited time frame was challenging.
Secondly, I would like to address a payment issue. I presented Pioneer Pines management with a $4970 check in January 2024, despite being informed that no payment would be accepted. This decision significantly impacted my finances. I have supporting photos and emails available upon request. The fate of the $4970 check, once in the possession of Pioneer Pines management, remains unknown as it was never returned to me. I find this situation quite perplexing, and I would appreciate your insights on this matter.
Lastly, I am concerned about the actions of the management and the sheriff, who entered my home, conducted a search, and made physical alterations such as changing the locks on my manufactured mobile home. As far as I am aware, the foundation and the lot space belong to Pioneer Pines, not the manufactured home itself, which is owned by my father and me. My disabled father, which happens to be a senior as well and who is already feeling embarrassed and humiliated due to the circumstances, claims to have been subjected to mockery and taunting by individual manager associated with Pioneer Pines.
I look forward to your assistance and guidance on these matters to help me prepare for the court case. Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter.

Re: Court case coming up for eviction
Hi Shannon,
In addition to the free legal resources spread throughout this chain, try a dedicated tenant lawyer for the court case. Maybe they can help you or "buy" you some time to find a new place to live. Locate tenant resources here. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... for_t.html

Re: Court case coming up for eviction
My name is Shannon. My family and I are being evicted from our home of 4 years and we have a court case coming up. We have less than 30 days before the eviction goes back to court in front of the judge. I have beat the first eviction suit however I’m not sure that I can beat this one. The home is not somewhere we want to stay as we no longer feel safe in our home. We have been told that there has been recording devices and such put in and under our home as well as we have found signs that someone has been in our home while we are away. We are needing help with getting a safe place to stay before we are out on the streets with the court case for the eviction coming up. We currently live in Williamstown Kentucky.

Re: Veteran facing illegal eviction from landlord
Thank you of course for your service. There is a veteran housing program called SSVF, which offers financial help, grants, moving/relocation assistance and more. They also rehouse homeless veterans. It is offered in most communities, and learn bore on the SSVF veteran program.

Re: Veteran facing illegal eviction from landlord
Hello, I'm a 64 year old veteran who has been illegally evicted from my apartment by my landlord, effective at 21:59 pm March 22 2023. As of this date I will be homeless, my only other option is a motel, but my financial situation is very fragile, I collect Social Security Retirement of $842 a
month and work part-time to make ends meet but could not longer afford my $900 a month rent on my studio apartment in Ogden Utah. I was applying for rental assistance and though it was approved, the owner of the property ordered the landlord to evict me because he did not want to wait for the assistance funds, and it was an illegal eviction. I am desperate. I have 3 cats that are my ESA animals due to PTSD. It will take me some time to save up enough money to get into a new place to live. HELP please!

Re: Court case coming up for eviction
Hello: To Whom It May Concern:
I live in Elm Grove WV part of Wheeling WV in Ohio County and I was needing some information on Rental Assistance for this month October 2022!!?? I have received an eviction notice for this month October 2022! I have an upcoming court case for the eviction. And who can I call to for assistance with rent in my area or programs I can sign up for with assistance for this month and maybe a few extra months to come.
November and December possibly!! I got to sign up for the West Virginia Rental Assistance Program right at the end for 1 month only!! I'm on Disability and only get in $14,435 annually which is not very much in my opinion.
And also I would like to get some information on going back to school to take a course in something that I can do my schooling and work from home please also! But I need help to deal with the upcoming eviction court case.

Re: Court case coming up for eviction
Hello!
My name is Dominique and I live in Justice Illinois. I'm currently facing eviction and have a case date set for May 9th of 2022. I've been unable to work due to having a small child whom at the beginning of the pandemic needed assistance with e-learning. When school was back in session. Almost twice a month she had to quarantine due to coming into contact with covid from other students, which made it hard for me to obtain employment. I'm now employed, yet I've falling behind and currently looking for assistance as the court case for the eviction is upcoming. I've tried numerous agencies and I haven't had any luck. I can be reached if someone is able to assist. I'm available for phone calls any day of the week between 8am and 11am, before my work schedule.

Re: Veteran facing illegal eviction from landlord
If you really think it is illegal, look into free legal aid. Most states provide free advice to low-income veterans, and they can help with evictions.
There are also VA benefits, government grants, programs such as SSVF or HUD VASH for veterans and others. Look here for resources and to get rental assistance.

I am a veteran and single mom of 4 kids. I have called legal aid of middle Tennessee and had to leave a voicemail, and a few other places but so far I am over income for the veterans organizations or it is not something they deal with. I can explain everything, provide pictures, you can come to my house to see for yourselves because I have nothing to hide. I am looking for places to live but i don't have the money with it being the middle of the month so I can't move right now. Please help me in any way you can and let me know if there's any other avenues I can take. Of note, I have only received a 3 day require to vacate letter but I expect she will be pursuing the eviction process which I think is illegal.
I have never missed rent nor behind on rent. If there's anyone that can get me money to put stuff in storage and pay first month's rent plus security deposit for a new place, I can pay whoever back the full amount in 4 payments.

Re: About to be Evicted, Need help soon
If you need help soon (like within weeks), that may be time to look into emergency section 8 vouchers. They are for the disabled and/or elderly that meet criteria, and also are in a crisis and who need relief soon. But these are hard to get as well, but read more on section 8 crisis vouchers.

Re: Court case coming up for eviction
There are lawyers in Louisiana that help with court cases. They can represent you in housing court. Or contest the eviction and/or direct you to financial help. As the lawyers know all the rules and regulations, and find free lawyers in Louisiana.

To Whom It May Concern-
My elderly Mother, my 7 year old special needs grandson and I live together and we were served an eviction notice and we are about to be evicted. The only income that we have is my mother's SSDI and child support when the parents decide to pay. I have a broken neck and need a 3rd surgery so per my doctor, I cannot go back to work.
If you could please e-mail me or call my Mother or myself.
