Hi,
Yes, of course any type of car program (even more so a free or affordable car) is rare. But depending on where you are in South Carolina there may be a few programs you can try. We do have them listed here at a page of where to get a free car in SC.

I don’t want to move out of SC because I can’t afford to. I just need a couple of months rental assistance to remain where I am and need that car to get my to work.
I have only paid 1/2 of rent. Many of the places require you to be 1-2 months in arrears. By then, eviction will begin.
Many places in SC require you to have a full time job to get a free vehicle too. I have not found work as yet because of my age. I wouldn’t need help if I was working!!!
Can’t you suggest someplace that will help me that has funds available?
This is very frustrating indeed!
