Hi,
We would caution a doctor should not be "giving you" the OK to retire. You may want to talk to a financial counselor. A doctor should not be giving financial advice. But as for your PGB bills and other financial help in San Fran, programs are listed here. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... progr.html

A representative from Project Access in San Francisco county, California 94158 referred me to your organization. I'm disabled and transitioning from medical leave to being made redundant at my place of employment. My doctor supports my move to retirement or semi-retirement at least. My orthopedic disabilities have left me with chronic pain since I was a child, but I have worked up until recently. I have exhausted my state unemployment and disability benefits and do not want to get behind on my rent payments while I wait for my Federal Disability Determination. I'm hoping to get connected to resources serving San Francisco California in San Francisco county. I also have a $300 PGE power bill I am behind on. I have already signed up for their low-income discount. If there is a resource for help with it, I would appreciate that immensely. I am also considered a senior for some resources serving 55+.
Thank you kindly,

Try one of the many shelters in Dayton Ohio. Find a listing. There are in fact dozens of them in the county. Each will focus on a certain need. But once you and your family stays there, ask them about the transitional programs for support.

We currently lost are place we were staying and after Monday morning will have nowhere to stay. Can someone place help us with a hotel, a living program or anything like that? I don't want to lose my children. I've gone to that before.
