Struggling to pay bills in Atlantic City and need help

I live in Atlantic City, New Jersey. As of Oct 23rd my life was threatened. I lived in a Domestic Violence 33-year relationship. It included my kids Violence and my ex-husband. He threatened to burn me up alive after spitting sputum in my face for the 5th time that evening after I was held with his fist in my face until 5am. I finally called the police, and they removed him for 1- night. The locks I paid to change, he disregarded and kicked in 3- doors and again beat my head in all night. The next night I called the police, they removed him. He stalked me as I healed from 2- sprains in my ankles and hands after being thrown down 8 steps by this maniac. Then to top it off he kicked into 3 doors and tore a wall down to get to me. My home damaged to 25,000. I got a temp restraint order. Then I spent every dime I had as he fought me, and I had a full-blown trial.
For 1 year. I finally got the restraint permanently but now I am trying to re- build my life. I’m struggling and I’m in need of help. I am a nurse that was capable of helping myself. I’m so far behind that I can’t keep up. I just was able to return to work , but the bills are coming quicker than I can pay them . He destroyed my credit; I’m applying through home savor to save my home. I’m begging you to please help me to just find Resources to help me get a foot up.
On my life. I can be a success story if given a chance. Please - I’m trying to live a life without fear and pain. I’m a good person that needs to re-build. Thank you - Evelyn
