I lost my job back in February 2024 and I have been doing odd jobs here and there in Chapel Hill while looking and applying for permanent full time jobs. Currently I am behind on my lot rent as I live in a mobile home and pay rent for the lot. Lot rent is $550 per month plus the water bill. There is a $15.00 late fee if you don't submit payment before the 8th of the month. Since it is already December the 16th, I will not be able to pay January's lot rent as well. I would be $1650.00 behind at that point, with another $90 for water and $45.00 for late fees. Any help or resources you could send my way would be very helpful! Please note: I also was approved for rent assistance through Orange County, I live in Chapel HillNC, however - my landlords would not accept that type of payment. I have that email that I can share with you.
