Where can I get help with rent in Durham NC so not evicted?
Hello,
My name is Gloris, and I am a resident of Durham County, North Carolina. I am currently facing eviction with a court date of end of October. I am behind two months in my rent because I am a Class of 2024 law school graduate who has not found post-graduate employment yet. I no longer have the support of my parents.
I currently owe $3,062 in back rent that I need to pay before my court date in order to remain in my apartment.
Thank you for any assistance you can provide.
