Lost job due to Hurricane Helene and need rent help

I’m a disabled resident of Asheville but was working part time until the hurricane hit.
I’m on SSI.
I’m needing rental/deposit assistance and None of their housing programs are available due Helene.
I’m in danger of Homelessness due to the Hurricane especially with no job.
I’ve try contacted Salvation Army, United Way & Catholic Charites locally and it s hard to get through and they said they don’t provide rental assistance….
Please help me find resources

Hi my name is Dameka. I am in need of help paying my back rent due in October as my employer did not pay me wages once Helene hit. The company shut down. I have been our of work now do to some illnesses I've had. I have started to applied for public assistance in my state and I have giving them everything they have asked for and I still haven't heard back from them even though it is a crisis due to the hurricane. I am currently waiting on my hearing for SSI while I was working a little too. I've had a heart attack march 29th along with some other illnesses. I am in need of help at this point.

My name is Donna. I have had the same job for seven years. Unfortunately with the devastation of hurricane Helene, my job is temporarily closed. I need help anyway possible. My rent is due and I have no income. Could you help me with any organizations to help me pay my rent. I was able to pay half of rent of $600.00 but another $650 is due!
