So sorry to read that. Sadly, as you know, the western NC region was the hardest hit - devastating and tragic. Depending on your county (Buncombe, etc.) look here for assistance programs for NC, and select your county and/or state resources. I came across your info and wanted to reach out to you for assistance. I have recently almost lost everything due to Hurricane Helene as I live in the mountains of North Carolina. I have because of my house flooding and I have nothing left, not even clothes or a place to sleep. I am 42 and have 3 kids and a grandbaby. I did lose my business but was able to keep my home but is is flooding and most livable. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I will be looking for a remote job.
