Hi Lydia,
Since you are disabled and on benefits, there are loans and other emergency programs to explore. Find details on social security loans and funds for people on SSI. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... abled.html
Of course look for a free charity voucher for a room too, and those programs are here. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... chers.html
Need help paying a room I rent and on social security disability.

Need help paying a room I rent and on social security disability.
My name is Lydia. I am 54 years old and receiving social security disability. I was recently served with a notice to vacate the room I pay on my disability. But the reasons stated have nothing to do with me. I am living in a house where the owner is renting out room’s separate individuals. And because one of my room mates caused problems she is asking all of us to leave. After she collected the rent for 9/19.
I'm going to legal aid on Monday morning 9/9/19. But I still need to find housing or a new room to rent on such short notice and a limited social security income isn’t going to be easy. And I am hoping your nonprofit organization might possibly be a to help with my situation. Anything you could do to assist me would be greatly appreciated.
I was homeless before moving in here in 2/18 and if I had to be on the streets again with my arthritis and diabetes honestly believe I would make it. I hope to hear from someone in your organization soon and thank you for taking time to read my email.
