Hi both of you,
There are some programs for caregivers. Some people can apply to be paid by the government for caring for others - they can then be a paid caregiver. Get more details on how to get paid by the government as a caregiver.

I am a live in caregiver who does not get an income I just live at the home for free. My client has to go to the doctors weekly, twice a week, sometimes more. She is also suicidal and I can not leave her. My car broke down and Harvest Chev told me it would cost me $ 7,000 to get it fixed. I don't have that kind of money as I am not a paid caregiver but just homeshare. If I don't have a car to take care of her needs, I won't have a job. Do you know of any place that would help me. I've tried everything. Please help.
I thank you for your time and help.

Thank you for your help in advance. I appreciate you. Being a caregiver that does not get paid, we have budgeted ourselves to cover everything without taking that assistance away from someone else as they might need more than us, it is just the HOUSING and POWER. We have rationed all funds but after 4 years of absolutely living very simply, it's just all gone. The housing killed us. Can you just give me THAT link. I'm not lazy, believe me, it's just that being a non-paid caregiver to my 87 year old mom with dementia takes up more attention to it than you would think. I just need THREE months (I almost made it) and then we are out of here! J
Just don't need the horror if an eviction, no place to go, not to mention, the further whiplash to our already poor credit. Which took a good ten years to build to EXCELLENT, but pretty much this year (so 8 months) to ruin completely. It's all about the numbers I guess. And that's all I have time for. Thank you, and if not, thank you anyway.
