Hello there, my name is Leanna. I am currently living with my father in Bakersfield but need my own place.
I am a single mother of a 4 month of, and I need help paying my deposit and first month rent of 375 for both. I live in Bakersfield, California.
I have looked and asked about churches, and nothing has to help. Once I pay them too my rent will be dropped majorly. With the government low-income apartments, I am renting they impact us. I only asked for help one time. Thank you, a lot, for listening and hope you all have a wonderful day.

Hi Carolyn
Seems like you need the money to pay a security deposit for the home/apartment as well as helping locating a place in Bakersfield. Both of those are probably addressed by the rent assistance programs in Kern County, including Bakersfield. But if your only income is SSDI not sure how you will able to sustain the cost of living them, but try this for help with rent. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... tance.html

Need affordable place to live in Bakersfield CA
Hello,
My name is Carolyn. I'm 63 years old and searching for a nice, safe, and affordable place to live in Bakersfield. I was my mother's caretaker and since she died on January 11th, I have been homeless. I do receive SSDI but I have to pay whoever and wherever I stay for the month, which makes it harder for me to save for a security deposit.
Some places in Bakersfield want as much as the amount of the rent that they are asking for.
Is there any way you can help me get at least half of the amount needed for a security deposit so I can settle into a place of my own?
Thank you for your time?
