Need list of food programs in Houston TX

My name is Tanisha. I am a resident in Houston Texas and need food. At the moment, I’m 5 months pregnant with little financial support and a hard time finding a job. I will like to know if there’s any support in my area for food and housing? Any other support I can get at the moment from a pantry too would be great.

There are many pantries around the Houston metro area. They give out free food, but of course what you get is limited as pantries rely on donations. But they can serve a one resources to help you. We have a list of Houston food programs.

Hello, my name is Jenny and I am reaching out for some possible help with food in Houston. This is the first time I have ever had to do this sort of thing so honestly I’m a little lost and very embarrassed. As humiliating as this might seem to some I am 1st a mother and have a responsibility to take care of feed my my child. I live with my 3 year old daughter and we have been struggling this last year. I think our power was disconnected 4 or 5 last year one being Christmas and water shut off 4-5 as well. This is not a normal but I have had a run of false promises and just struggling to pay the bills and get food for me and my 3 year old. I’m looking for some guidance on where to get food and compassion in this time in my life. I am hoping to hear from all soon.
