Hi Tony
We are not sure if any organization will pay for licenses. But the request is not a ton of money. As far as a non-profit, try a Goodwill job training center. Some help people get supplies and some (rarely) give money for certifications. Find Goodwill job programs. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... grams.html

Maybe another option is Crowdfunding, We have witnessed, and others tell us, they can raise a little money for requests just like yours of a broker license. As you are requesting help to in effect "better your life. Learn about crowdfunding. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... bills.html

Money for insurance broker license

Post by PitPit »

Dear Assistance Professional,
I have been offered a position with American Income Life Insurance as an insurance broker. I need to achieve a California insurance brokers license. The total cost is $500.
Broken down as:
$155 for the class (provided by a 3rd party not my employer)
$88 for the test (goes to the state of CA)
$69 for the license application (goes to the state of CA)
$188 for the license (goes to the state of CA)
I cannot start training until the license is achieved so I need this assistance as soon as possible. I haven't been working and I do not have the finances to afford this. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Please get back to me at your soonest convenience.
Best regards,
Tony
