Hi,
Storage cost help is not common. Sometimes a homeless prevention - rehousing program will pay for it, and the Dallas ones are here. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... stanc.html
In addition to that, maybe a local charity or church in Dallas will help you pay for the storage costs. But that is, again, not common. But you can call places and try, and locate the Dallas rent and housing programs. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... tance.html

Help to pay for storage unit needed in Dallas
Hello, my name is Tiffany. I am trying to find assistance in Dallas So that I can regain access to my storage unit, and have our possessions moved to where we currently reside. I am struggling to pay my storage unit that I secured in order to keep our belongings last time we moved here in Dallas. I had to choose between storing them or losing them the time. My daughter and I are very close to losing our personal, irreplaceable belongings. Let me start by explaining my current situation.
I am 33, the mother of a 2-year-old girl. I am a stay-at-home mom. We live in Dallas, Texas, with my 65-year-old mother who hasn't worked in over 10 years and is recently separated from my father. He left home 14 months ago after 30+ years of marriage. My mother and I have been struggling to stay afloat ever since, considering neither one of us have consistent or reliable income, and we solely rely on a set amount my father chooses to give my mother for bills and living expenses for the month. When he left lasts year she was receiving enough to pay her house payment and cover some other expenses.
For at least 8 months now he only gives her exactly enough for the house payment. We have been living without the ability to pay anything else. My mother has been the one helping me pay for my storage until I could find someone with a truck to help move my things from where it is located in Carrollton TX to her house in Dallas. I've cleaned and organized most of her house to make room for our belongings. She is so far behind on her bills that she's helped me all that she can. I was able to look next door and find small jobs to organize for people and clean houses for others at one time. 3 months ago, my mom's car broke down, and we have been stranded here.
It has been extremely difficult to keep training diapers, milk, wipes, food, and laundry detergent here for my daughter. I have recently found someone with a truck that is ready and willing to help assist me in the task of moving my belongings out of the unit and to my mother's home. Unfortunately I am 2 months past due.
There are late fees that I owe on the storage unt and soon there will be additional line fees that will make it impossible to overcome. Our storage unit has most of mine and my daughter's belongings in it. My daughter's vital records and irreplaceable keepsakes from when she was a newborn infant. Also, my important documents as well and those can be difficult to replace with limited resources. Thank you for considering my request. Time is of the urgency regarding this personal matter. If you are unable to assist us but know of any other organizations that may be able to help, please reply with that information and any other advice. I will be proactive in taking any steps necessary to make myself available for assistance. I will do anything in my power to keep these possessions for us. Unfortunately, I am in a situation where I feel powerless, at least temporarily. So, I am humbly seeking assistance. I will be devastated if I lose the only possessions we own. But I find solace in my daughter's precious moments. I am thankful that she is happy, and filled with love and laughter. She is still young enough to be naive, and unaware that we are struggling. Thank you for your time. I appreciate any help that you are willing to provide..
