Hello,
I am a disabled senior citizen living alone in a one family NON- regulated bungalow in Rockaway Park NY.
My income is $2785 per month. As of August 2024 the rent is increasing by $125, making my monthly rent $1100.
According to my calculations this is $181 over the 1/3 standard of rent expense.
I am seeking to determine if I may be eligible for rent assistance in helping cover the $181.
If possible please send eligibility requirements and/or an application form.
