Re: Free sleep study needed

Hi Rachel,
We are not sure about a free sleep study. We do know there may be clinical trials, that are safe and approved, that maybe your husband can try. As many offer free sleep studies, equipment and other support. As an example, find free sleep trials from one of the nation's leading non-profit medical centers the Mayo Clinic. https://www.mayoclinic.org/departments- ... c-20407469

We also have information on CPAP machines for people with sleep issues or Apnea, among other conditions. Look here for a free CPAP. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... hines.html

Free sleep study needed

Post by David145 »

Hello, My husband is a two time Iraq veteran who served 8 years in the Marine Corps. We can tell he has a severe case of sleep Apnea and is in dire need of a sleep study, especially since he has to commute and hour and a half each way to work and falls asleep at traffic lights, etc.  His company offers no insurance since they have less than 50 employees. I am his wife & am disabled so he is supporting me and kids.
We have nothing extra after bills to pay towards a sleep study. I spoke to my Doctor that is a sleep specialist in Jacksonville, NC and has the lowest fees & we were told if we can come up with $700.00. If so they would do the sleep study and they can bill the rest to us. Can you all please help with $700.00 or know anyone that can? Or tell us where to get a free sleep study for a veteran? My husband doesn't qualify for VA benefits. So if you can help in anyway, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Rachel
