No need to apologize for emailing us. That is what we do. Look here for assistance programs in Lubbock County TX. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... tance.html
They may help you are your parents. Also try a senior center, human services for older adults, and some of those senior focused charities. Heck even try the AARP for referrals in the area.

Trying to find help with bills in Lubbock

Post by Sanchez »

Hi,
I'm sorry to email you directly. I was trying to sift through the wonderful resources you have listed for Lubbock, TX but I was overwhelmed with where to start.
I live in eastern TX, but my parents and sister live in Lubbock TX. They have so much need, and I'm trying to find ways to help them.
My parents are both 81 years old and have health problems, along with doctor visits and prescriptions to pay for. My sister and her autistic son live with them, which is a blessing and a challenge for everyone. My parents have limited funds, debts to pay, and my sister doesn't have a job. She is caring for them.
There are so many complications for them with lack of money, mental health issues, and physical health challenges. I am not sure where to start helping them wit their bills and needs.
I'm praying for a miracle for them, for them to be able to get help, and I'm willing to be part of whatever solution that is.
Can you help put me in touch with someone or with definite resources?
