Re: Salvation Army in Massachusetts may be able to help
Hi, I recently received help from Salvation Army through Good Energy and they paid my bill.
I need help with my current bill of $137.00. Can you please send me a list or let me know of all of the other charities or programs that will pay my National Grid bill?
I am outside Boston.

There are other charities and holiday programs in Essex County MAS - not just the Salvation Army. Food pantries, financial help, Adopt a Family and many others are out there. Look here for financial help in Essex County MA.

Re: Salvation Army in Massachusetts may be able to help
Hi, good afternoon. I hope all is well. I am just wondering If you could help me get in touch with Salvation Army here in Salem, Massachusetts. We're on Housing Assistance Program right now and barely making enough to pay the bills and would love for my son to have something for Christmas. Thank you so very much in advance and I look forward to hearing from you. Have a great day!

Re: How to call the Salvation Centers in Massachusetts
We have that county listed for Bristol. Find Salvation Army help in Massachusetts. They have many programs that may help you, as shown on our website.
Whether they can help with rent or utilities...who knows. Call and ask if you qualify and if they have resources.

Re: Salvation Army in Massachusetts may be able to help
The Salvation Army is not obligated to help you or anyone else for that matter. While it may be harsh, it is reality. That being said they try to help as many qualified people as possible, if they have resources. So maybe the Salvation Army does not even have funding for you. But try another agency, and try to understand more what the Massachusetts Salvation Army can or can't do. Maybe even if they can't offer a voucher, maybe they know of more affordable hotels in MA for you.

I'm behind on all my
bills and there will be no Christmas for my children. I am in North Andover, MA. I've called the head of your office in
Lawrence, MA and like I said I've been denied help since April.

Re: How to call the Salvation Centers in Massachusetts
Good afternoon,
I live in Fall River Massachusetts, which is Bristol County. I was looking for the Salvation Army in this County that can help me with my utilities and my rent, but I didn't find any in this County. I was raised and born in the Salvation Army, in Puerto Rico. I knew they help people but I never been in a situation like this before so I was unaware that they could help me with that kind of help as well. I take care of my elderly mother that has dementia and I also have an 15 year old which I don't get any help from her father at all!
I am in a huge depression, this situation take my sleep away! I cry all the time because I'm afraid no one can help me, specially keeping a roof over our heads since I lost my job!!
I will be more than happy if I can get the info on where in Fall River is the Salvation Army that can help me with this!! I also have access to my email. So a call or an email will be ok, I just need to find a place where to go before they shut of my electric and heat on October 16!
I want to thank you guys up front for the info that you guys can give me!!!!

How to call the Salvation Centers in Massachusetts
Hello, I tried calling the number to get information, with no luck to leave a message. I did leave messages with the local Salvation Army that I thought was in my area. Please if you can call me, I am from Uxbridge Massachusetts. I have a hard time with my arm typing on the computer. I am in need of getting help with my electric bill that is over 3,000 dollars. I have so much anxiety over this. I am disabled and my husband works full time and still can't make the payment they want us to make. Thank you.

Salvation Army in Massachusetts - How to get help?
To whom it may concern,
I am a full time worker and single parent of a three year old. I am currently living with someone as a roommate but there is a constant issue, we both have one child and we are living in a one bedroom apartment with not enough space for the other to think or pass time alone. It has become a burden for the both of us. I am not on the lease and she has informed me that I have one month to get out (by the end of December) there is a small problem, I have not had the chance to save nearly enough to get my own apartment or save any money at all. Housing is expensive in Massachusetts. I was also informed that I will be losing my job in two weeks. I am in a scramble to find a new job before those two weeks are up and find a place to live. A neighbor had mentioned the Salvation Army could help for two years with rent and utilities. I would like to know if there is a possibility I can get some help, I am desperate, I do not want to be homeless with my child. Please help! If you have or need additional information, feel free to contact me. You can also email me at this email.
Thank you for your attention.
