My name is Esthela, and I am currently seeking Emergency utility (Energy bill and water) aid with payment. My bill is due and if it's not paid on the same day, they will turn off 'energy services and my water and wastewater. I have 4 children, with 2, as well as myself with auto immune system. I have faithfully paid my bills, Even, if I've had to break up the bill and make multiple payment. With costs being so high for my water and Verizon phone and water and living paycheck to paycheck. My utility bill is never the same and is currently $358.50. That including Electric minimum charge (10.80), usage charge ($211.22) plus additional charge for Purchased Power Fee ($136.48) also, don't know what that is. If it were just $211, I'd be able to pay for it and get a little bit of groceries and have some money for the water bills and phone too. My partners' check was $400 for 2 weeks of work. Which wouldn't allow me to properly feed my family for the next 2 weeks Please let me know, if your program for immediate assistance is available. Thank you.

You mentioned your utility be going up $400 as due to a faulty unit. Even if you get help with the electric bill, you need to fix the root cause which is the broken AC unit. Maybe LIHEAP or weatherization will help pay for it or a local charity near you have volunteer electricians who will help. My name is Angela. I was hurt at work in March and have not had a income of any kind since. My lights and water will be shut off at the end of the month. I've tried to do LEHEAP threw LaSalle community Action, but they will not take my application till next month and my utilities will be off. I have no transportation and no one to help. Great for you to look out for your friend. However if she has little, or no income, if may be hard for her to get help with electric, gas or water bills. As most charities, or even the utility or water company, will want to know the customer (your friend) can pay future bills on their own. That being said, there are many programs and look here for money to pay various utility bills.

My best friend is pregnant with my baby and is behind on her bills. She is 20 weeks a long and has an inverted uterus. This makes it dangerous in a work environment. Also she has disassociative personality disorder. She has applied for disability to pay her electric and water bills but in the meantime she has no income.

Her doctor contacted the electric company to tell them of her disabilities but they said because she is on the prepaid electric plan a serious or chronic condition wouldn't be considered. The reason she is on the prepaid plan for her utilities and water is because she owed over $500 because she had the covid and just got behind. I live in Arkansas and am on a fixed income of $963 a month and my check is mostly gone by the time I get it. I've been using my savings to pay her electric this month but so far it's been over $200 just this month. My savings is gone. I can't pay on it anymore. But it's going to be shut off tomorrow. Please tell me what I should do?

My water bill has been crazy for the months of February and March. Just for water & sewer February was $322.50 then there's garbage $12.47 & recycling fee $6.29 & the base fee is $28.04 - late fee $25.00. I also owe on electric, phone and other bills. I can't believe that we used that amount of water. Been told by agencies that it was no way we used that amount of water. That it'd be like feeling a huge swimming pool using that much!! Then the March bill came out & the landlord had hung a water bill on the door handle. That said account must be paid in full by March 10th or we would receive a 3day eviction & legal fees would be added to our account. March bill came & water & sewer were $214.67 . Garbage $12.47. Recycling fee $6.29. Base fee $28.04. Late fee(mic. Fees) $25.00. Phone bill $100 - Electric is $76.32 overdue.
We live in a mobile home in Gateway Mobile Home Community a trailer court. Our water bill can then turn around & the total water bill would be ex. $86. 57. Our water bill comes from a company called ABT out of Beloit, Wisconsin. I can't call them & set up payments. I've to go through the trailer court & it's pay it our eviction every time!!! I'm on SSI & Social Security disability. It's been hard sometimes since the Corona virus!!! I was told on March 8th 2023 when I caught the Court Manger before he left after hanging the bill on the door handle. That if I can't effort it to move!!! I was afraid to call & make payment arrangements any time that I can't make my lot rent, electric or water bill! I'm threatened eviction & talked to in a unprofessional business way ! I'm going to call & make as much of a payment as I can!! Then see if I can pay certain amounts of payments to get our water bill paid off! This will be March 9th the call for payment arrangements. 2 days to pay off a total of $679.68.
If I could get any kind of help would be appreciated for the sewer, electric, phone or electric! We're trying to not get behind!! But things like food & roof over our head. With food being so much higher makes paying all the bills hard!!

Hello, I have a family member that her and her two children have an electric and power and water bill in the amount of 320 to get their power restored in South Carolina.  However, I am in Virginia and unsure how to get them any assistance.  Their power and water has been shut off for nonpayment. I have no power or water. I have been living in my house with no power or water for 2 months and 2 weeks and I am seeking help getting it turned back on. I was going to do it by myself but it took everything I had saved up for the down payment on my car cause my other car got stolen. And I need a car to get me back and forth to work. My water and power bill is 249.00 and now since it's been shut off they want 300.00 dollars deposit. They need this with the power bill.

I did ask if The City of J.C. Offices Would work with us. They said they will turn it back on when 500 or more of the 700 Is payed. They will then restore my service. I have had a hard time finding help for my water bill & it turned back on. I pray there is a Program out there that can help US. Sorry for all the details but I believe in being honest & thorough.

I recently applied for assistance through turning points Manatee County for help with deposit to move into a house after being homeless for 5 months with my children. I found that my caseworker did everything that he could to not be helpful and offered to help with Power and Water instead of any help with deposit on my home in which I still owe money but now I am stuck with no power and water and have been out of work due to an accident.
I was toned by braces taxi. I have health issues my daughter and I are sick. She's five and any attempt at trying to reach my case worker has been ignored he is very unresponsive very unprofessional. I don't like asking for help I rarely go to any program at all to receive any assistance but I am desperate for help with my power if anything and I don't know where to go from here. If you can please guide me in the direction that I need to go that would be greatly appreciated. They case worker at turning points has received everything he has asked of me including my final notice from FPL and still will not communicate with me at all. Thank you for your time.
