Good Afternoon,
I am writing this to request some assistance for my family and I, am DACA kid. As a result of unexpected medical bills and moving expenses due to our rental being sold and the fees to deal with legal for DACA citizenship.
My mother who has COPD and congestive heart failure now requires help when I am not home. I walk back and forth to work and to top it off the landlord just informed us that the unit we live in has been sold. We are able to stay but the rent will go up another $350.00 a month and we just do not have that. We currently are even having trouble keeping food on the table.
Due to me losing my vehicle and my home in Hurricane Sally I just have not been able to get back on my feet financially. I have applied for food assistance and help for the DACA application but I am denied every time. I keep all my papers and document everything to be able to show in the future that I have tried to apply for assistance but can't seem to get anywhere. We currently do not have anything to eat at home due to not having the funds to buy anything. I am hoping I will hear something back from your agency and I pray you might be able to help if not be able to point me in the right direction for some assistance.

DACA kids may qualify for free legal aid, especially if you are jobless and low income.
If you want Harris County resources for DACA kids, look into the free pro-bono attorneys. Find free lawyers by state.

I am jobless and my low-income family is unable to cover the government-mandated $465 even after 3 years since the program became effective. If any help can be provided, like sending me a link to an organization dedicated to Harris County residents for DACA financial support or through your very own support, I am happy to hear a response from you.

Hi, how are you? I wanted to ask you do you have a program that helps people with motel rooms for DACA kids and money for DACA application fees. The reason why I'm asking is because me and my children who are filling for DACA applications have been living in a motel ever since we had to move because the apartment building had bad bed bugs and I have crohns disease.
