I have gone a week without lights and water. I just got paid today and paid $300 towards my bill and they put on my water and gas until the next week. I need 200 more to be paid or they will cut it back off. I paid $400 towards my light bill and they are telling me I need 266 more to turn on my lights. I don't have means of cooking or keeping food cold as the cut my gas too.
I have two children which is both special needs and I don't get any assistance from anyone or any type of funds. I am in Jeopardy of losing my vehicle which gets me back and forth to work. The last bit of money I have I have to put on the back rent. I went through a series of incidents this year that has landed me in this situation and catching back up has been very difficult. I really sleep as I'm always on the road doing a side hustle just to put food on the table for that day. This is a breakdown of my expenses which does not include all the needs that my children have or the day-to-day expenses. I have a cyst under my tooth I have not been able to do anything within 2 years because I am mainly focusing on keeping things stable for my children. My back is against the wall and I don't have anyone that will help me but more so to talk about me and my children. I don't know who else to go to becuase I exhausted all resources.

We highly doubt you ill get over $800 to pay the Centerpoint bill. That is a large amount due. However the company does offer some payment plans and programs such as Lend a Helping Hand and many others. But these will have strict application criteria in place. Anyway, find the Louisiana Centerpoint assistance programs and maybe some can help with your utilities.

I am a mother of two sons and a daughter. I live in Kansas City, MO. I have a son that lives in St. Louis and I am hoping you can help me help him, his wife and two kids. If you are disabled with children, then many utilities have programs in place to protect these individuals from shut off, and will give you priority in getting aid. Some funds may help with connections too. Find details on the South Dakota utility assistance programs and services too. Call local resources too in South Dakota like the Salvation Army.

One of the main programs, but is only offer by some limited water companies, is the H2O Help to Others Program. It operates by some companies in Florida, Texas, California, and other states. Maybe call your company and ask about this option. Also ask about Low Income Payment Programs (LIPP) too.
