Here is the phone number for the HEAP program in NY. they usually do prioritize families with a medical condition, so keep trying. I need assistance in paying my energy bill. I have called HEAP twice in the last 2 weeks but have yet to receive a call. I have received a 48 hour notice of shut off and I’m not sure what to do at this point. My son who is asthmatic has to depend on his nebulizer daily which is really using up my energy. Can you please help?
