Hi,
That sounds intense and sorry to read it. Do you have health insurance, even Medicaid or something? Do they cover part of the expense? While we doubt as clinic has MRI or similar equipment, try a medical clinic-health care center as noted here. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... r_you.html
Also some hospitals or medical providers offer charity care. Try that for help too. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... _care.html

MRI test needed and help paying for it

Post by Omni »

In the past 21/2 years I have had a condition, symptoms worsen.
I began with light sensitivity and noticed it vaguely when driving and then more. One day intensely noticing the glare and then missed going into a ditch. At that point ending night driving.
More and more I began getting not just light sensitivity and needing dark sunglasses at night but also swollen eyes, later bruising happening, chemical burn feeling, nonstop burning feeling in nasal, later going onto pain of entire facial bones, behind eyes to all up neck and then a huge headache to now always be a night of pain and nausea if light.
Indoor fluorescent/sharp or Outdoor light exceeds 2 to 4 hours, at 4 hours already means I will be in pain.
The best doctors were sought after. I went to Bascom Palmer in Miami where Dr recommended Scleral lenses costing thousands of dollars including an MRI and different Dry Eye drops costing 2 to 300 dollars. Now am with even less vision and many saying it has to be Neurological.
I have an appointment for an MRI and Ct scan.
As well as a doctor, I am not sure I can even cover this point. But tests such as
MRI, Ct scan, and spinal tap have been mentioned as having had to be done for any type of accurate diagnosis to be given.
My symptoms are all timeline verifiable as is the vision loss. I have emails to eye dry / videos and pictures that show various times and how it has progressed.
I have been shut in past 2 years more and more. To now being outside only 1 to 2 hours maybe.
And work being harder and harder to do, whether it be cooking on boats or energy healing, reiki, massage.
If eyes are swollen shut and healing from going over the time in light I suffer work wise.
I can't see well so getting resources for the blind.
Life skills, training etc.
But I am searching for help h the MRI and tests to get these tests done.
They are so important, and my condition is progressing so amazingly fast.
I need help. Sources that can connect me to funding or assistance with these tests.
