Re: Singe parent lacks child care so cant work

Post by Isaac Osei »

My name is Larkins. i live in Hennepin county.
I'm reaching out because I’m currently experiencing a financial shortfall as a single mom and need assistance.
Recently, I lost my best friend, which caused me to miss several days of work. This unexpected time away from my job led to a loss of income, and I am now unable to make rent for this month. In addition to this, I am a full-time student and a single mother without child care assistance, which makes it extremely difficult to maintain a stable financial situation.
This has been an incredibly challenging time, and I am doing my best to manage everything while continuing to work and stay in school even with no child care. I would be truly grateful for any support you may be able to provide to prevent being evicted.
Thank you so much for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Rubio

Singe parent lacks child care so cant work

Post by Rubio »

Hello, I was contacting your office in need of financial assistance with my rent and utilities. I am a single parent with no child care the was given this information from my hospital social worker/counselor at Baylor SCOTT All Saints hospital. I am a patient that has been diagnosed with chronic migraines, POTS syndrome and chronic digestive issues. I am currently receiving counseling/care due to my conditions. Due to my high risk pregnancy I was forced to stop working. My baby was born at 36 weeks weighing in at 4 lbs. 7 oz. She was in the NICU due to breathing problems and having trouble producing her own warmth. She was released due to getting better. At this moment my unemployment benefits have been exhausted and I have no more income. Now my baby is 5 months old and I am struggling to support her and my 3 year old daughter since I am not able to work due to my little one (5 month old) not having childcare. She is currently on the wait list at the Gregg head start where my oldest attends. Please let me know if there  is any programs available in your office and the requirements. In case there are none available please guide me towards a foundation or program you would think could assist my family and me. Thank you, Crystal
