Hi Tamra
Sorry to read that. Helene (and then Milton) have devastated so many communities. While of course people in the coastal areas, like FL and coastal GA, we do not sympathize as much with as they are on "borrowed time" as hurricanes are a fact of life for people who decide to move there and take that risk. However for the inland communities like Hephzibah and Richmond County a hurricane is not natural and sound not occur. But try the FEMA as well as Georgia Emergency Management programs listed here. https://gema.georgia.gov/hurricane-helene
Hello, my name is Tamra. I am 43 years old and just went through the devastation of hurricane Helene in Hephzibah, GA. With all the food expense eating out while there were no food or power at home or in grocery stores it don't have my $355.00 lot rent payment that has to be paid by noon on October 30th. Please I live in a fixed income and receive SSI. If there is anyone you can direct me to for financial help for the rent so I'm not evicted it would be more than appreciated. Thank you for your time and listening.
