Bills from ruptured colon surgery due

My husband has been sick for over a year and out of work. He had to have emergency surgery 5 months ago for a ruptured colon. He had to get a colostomy bag and now he is waiting for the doctors to get his blood pressure under control because it is dangerously high so he can get a reversal surgery for colostomy bag. We are struggling and have fallen behind on all of our bills and owe hundreds in medical debt plus everyday bills. We are at the breaking point and desperately need help, any info you can share with us on how to get help with surgery costs and the bills would be appreciated.
