I’ve been looking for jobs since I got fired I actually just left an interview today unfortunately I have not had any luck as of yet and my rent is coming up again soon as are my utility bills and I don’t know what to do anymore. I have reached out to quite a few organizations in Daytona Beach Including 211 United Way Human Resources to name a few and I just haven’t been able to find any help and was hoping that maybe you might be able to assist me.

I am a disabled Veteran, Army Active, Honorable discharge in 2013. I live 2 blocks from the beach in Daytona Beach Florida in Volusia County. For the last 3 years I have worked for a charter company that does Charters for Abaco Island Bahamas.
During the last Hurricane my area was mandatory evacuated, they shut the bridges down on and off the beach side. My son is asthmatic and depends on a nebulizer, so we had to evacuate in case power was lost. I spent a lot of money preparing for the hurricane and our safety. I was out of work for a week because my job closed down because of it.
After the storm, my job finally told me to come in on Thursday the 5th of September. (Last workday prior was 28th of August) I worked the day of September 5. On Thursday night my supervisor called me and told me to hold off coming in on Friday, that because the Abacus were hit so severely, the business was in jeopardy. No one got paid on Friday, I have been told not to come in to work, but "not fired or laid off" although have been told they understand if I need to find something else.
Well, I was depending on my last paycheck and my next paycheck to pay my rent. I just received a 3 day notice from my landlord, that he is going to start eviction. I am desperately looking for assistance with my $900 rent payment. Thank you for any info you can give me
