Is an EBT card able to be used at Taco Bell?

Hello, I have an 62-year-old family friend who is currently struggling to get by and wondering what his EBT card can buy for food or work at Taco Bell. He needs money for food, utilities and has been battling cancer and was working up to a couple weeks ago at Taco Bell. His credit card bill, which is used to buy groceries, is due on the 1st of every month.
I have tried to get many people to help him out for the most part but it’s only getting him so far. He currently receives SNAP benefits from EBT and medical card, and I am emailing to find out if there is any other assistance available to him to buy food and get an EBT card. He does not hold a state ID and he has misplaced a lot of important documents in his time but has that EBT card he wants to use at his former employer. Any information would be greatly appreciated thank you.
