Help to fix my A/C system in Mesa

I am needing help with fixing my Central AC system. It went out June 21, 2024. I had called Keevers Heat and Cooling in Mesa and they came out. I paid $85 for service fee and $80 for 1 pound of Freon - total $178.00. Now I have no money for more fixes.
The worker that came never said I’d have to get a whole new system because this one is a 1998 and they don’t make it any more plus the Freon is hard to find. They stopped making it. I’ve got kids, a pet and only one window opens. I’ve got two fans but they don’t do anything with the Mesa heat. I need help with my AC system.
