Re: What programs that help people with schizophrenia pay bills

Post by Erika Rudd »

I'm struggling to stay in my house the landlord wants me out. I'm behind for Grand and my utilities are about to be cut off and she is trying to evict me.
I'm a single mother with three children going through a divorce and struggling since my husband left during that time my client of five years passed away on November 4th and my oldest daughter has schizophrenia which sent me back. Having to deal with the divorce, schizophrenic daughter and the financial stress has caused me to fall into a deep dark depression and I am struggling to find work now because of this. I'm trying to look for remote jobs, so I won't contract the job market again and risk giving it to my other children.
Please help, I have nobody else.

Hi,
Did Mallory file for disability? As schizophrenia is a condition that should qualify here for SSI or some other government aid. Get details on disability benefits. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... stanc.html

What programs that help people with schizophrenia pay bills

Post by Mike R »

Good Afternoon,
I am writing on behalf of my daughter, Mallory who resides with me. Mallory is 24 years old and has schizophrenia. She is currently not able to maintain a job but in time hopes to stabilize and be able to contribute to the household bills. I am a single mother of three who all reside with me. I was wondering if there were any programs that could help defray some of the household bills that continue to pile up from month to month. Are there any resources dedicated to people with schizophrenia. One income and three children all still in school/college. I was wondering if you had any information pertaining to back rental assistance, water and sewer assistance and/or electrical assistance (We currently get the discount on the electrical due to my middle daughter Hannah's medical diagnosis of Cystic Fibrosis). Thank you in advance for your assistance.
