Re: Perkins Loan

Post by Kitt Lacey »

I am a 66-year-old registered nurse who has been paying my Perkins school loans without much of a problem. I was recently diagnosed with idiopathic lung fibrosis, a condition that has affected my quality of life. I am unable to perform housework, walk or climb the stairs. I planned to continue working to age 72 as I initially was in perfect health. I cannot foresee the possibility of working beyond 2021, and I rent an apartment, so I cannot borrow against my residential place. I am writing you organization to determine if you can assist me in paying my Perkins student loans, that amount to $170,000. Since the 2020 COVID infection, I have been servicing my principal to reduce the interest. Your assistance on this matter is highly appreciated,

Perkins Loan

Post by Bluetooth »

Hello, my name is Mia. I am currently enrolled Full-time at Keiser University and have a Perkins Loan to pay for college. I have to move to Miami. The reason why I was offered a job in Miami. I found an off campus apartment which is 4th Street Commons I was approved. I do not have the funds to pay for my down payment and first month’s rent. I chose this specific complex because all my utilities are included and furniture too. It has been quite a struggle because I do not have financial help from my parents. I spoke with my Financial Aid Adviser at my school and they are already all out of a Perkins Loan budget. If you know of any way I can receive aid it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Mia.
